These handheld document cases are more functional (ie: bigger) than Fendi's. Whether the portfolio/clutch/document case becomes a workplace staple among professionals is to be seen.



There's something almost imperceptibly "off" with the bag on the left. I suspect slightly smaller, polished buckles should set it right.



Did someone end up with extra scraps of crocodile skin? For all I know the "stitched" look could be intentional, but it still makes the briefcase look like an afterthought -- not classy at all. As a general rule for exotics, the exterior side should be composed of a single piece of skin.

I'm not sure what to call this -- clutchfolio? Portfoliclutch? Whatever it is, it doesn't yield much practical use, but neither do the festive national security threat levels. (Are we still orange?) However, exotic skin is not something I can easily resist.



Back when the Edith bag was popular among women, I wished Chloé would make a men's travel version. Although the only similarity is the trapezoidal shape, I'm going to tentatively say my wish came true. I really hope this bag goes into production. If only I had a rich sugardaddy to buy me the crocodile version...



The point of the messenger bag is to free your hands. The above look is a compromise: you don't want your jacket to get wrinkled by the shoulder strap, but you want to dress-down a bit with a messenger bag. Unlike the Three-Fifths Compromise or the war on terror, this actually works.

Who's ready for the man clutch? I'd consider using one if I were going to a formal event (ie: Alexander McQueen clutch), but for every day purposes, I'll just stick with the hands-free messenger bag.

Oliver Kahn is a German soccer player who plays for Bayern München. He is 38 years olds. He has no business wearing a pink Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt and carrying a Gucci clutch. At least Cristiano Ronaldo looked decent when he conspicuously sported his Louis Vuitton clutch.

Spring 2005. Honestly, I have no idea what that is - looks like a variation of a clutch, except it's big enough to be not mistaken for one. The tassled zipper pull looks annoying at first (I like the Balenciaga ones because they're soft and not rigid), but somehow, the buckle and the leather detailing dovetail to become a unique manbag that I'd take to a mandatory department picnic. (Does anyone else hate forced department/company social gatherings?)

I realize I get emotionally swayed by miniscule things. I met J.im at a hotelroom two years ago. I was a sophomore still living in a college dormroom, and my roommate was there a lot of the time, so I had no choice but to resort to Ramada Inn. I promise it wasn't as sleazy as it sounds. Yesterday he came over (I have my own room now), and I asked him if he remembered the first time we met, and he did. It was cute and made me feel gooey inside. And I felt emotionally weak for having thought that. I don't have emotions. I don't believe in them.

He has brownish-blonde hair, brown eyes, and stubbles.

He also said he's 90% straight and 10% gay, which is just bizarre to me.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2007. Does metal automatically make something more masculine? I think it does, at least in this case. Clutches for men aren't widely accepted here in the U.S., but the metal boxes make for good alternatives. Women have Judith Leiber for formal events, so why can't men have something? (I'm not advocating jewel-encrusted bags; I think that would cross the line.) The metal boxes aren't practical for everyday use, but why not give your tux a little flair?

I never in three years would have thought I would even consider carrying a clutch. But here I am. (I also thought I would never turn into an alcoholic.) The metal hardware and buckle are the only reasons this isn't a women's accessory, but I can totally imagine a man in a suit carrying this. Sometimes, you really just need your phone, keys, and wallet - no sense in carrying a whole bag for just those items, right? Right??? Say yes!
