Samsonite Black Label 'Along' Weekender.

Samsonite Black Label

Source: Samsonite

Everything from the woven leather handles to the detachable shirt bag (bottom zippered compartment) is perfection on this Samsonite Black Label Resort collection travel bag. The perpendicular and parallel patterning compartmentalizes each section and makes this bag easy to "absorb" visually. There's a hidden water bottle holder and a detachable shoulder strap (not shown) as well as interior pockets for all your travel needs.

I might actually visit their store next time I visit San Francisco.

Samsonite Black Label 'Along' weekender available at Samsonite for $1100.

Dear Readers,

I leave it up to you to tell me why this briefcase is so awkward-looking. (Hint: Compare with Dunhill or Louis Vuitton.)

Please leave your notes in the comment section.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

CC

Samsonite Tartaruga.

Source: Panik Design

I wasn't a fan of this Alexander McQueen/Samsonite luggage, and I'm not a fan of this either. The above Samsonite Tartaruga backpack designed by Joris Smeuninx reminds me of a bug with the exterior looking like exoskeleton of an exotic grotesque flying insect. And I hate insects. If you look under my kitchen cabinet, I have all different sorts of Raid for the variegated species of bugs that must be eradicated.

OK, so the material is actually carbon fiber and not chitin, but it still looks gross.

Samsonite Tartaruga bagpack available at Panik Design for £214.99.

Skeletal Bag.

Alexander McQueen for Samsonite Black Label. I've always wanted luggage that resembles a ribcage. His collaboration with Puma churned out disastrous shoes. Let's see if his latest foray with a mid-level brand company turns out to be more successful.
